Guys, life has been a fucking nightmare.
I’m not going to lie.

I’ve been really struggling.

Things that I thought I’d dealt with have raised their ugly heads.

Things that I have to deal with felt more burdensome than ever.

Things that I never intended on ever having to deal with have forced my hand.

I’ve been fighting and battling myself for these last few months and I very nearly gave up.

I very nearly ended it.

And a huge part of me still wants to.

I’m nowhere near better and I’m not even really sure that I’m ready to come back but I want to try.

You guys give me a reason to get out of bed in the morning.

A reason to create.

A reason to follow my passion.

So I’m going to try.

It’ll be sporadic at first because I’ll just be dipping my toe in to begin with and then we will see where she goes.

I’m not putting any pressure on myself because I am extremely easily overwhelmed at the moment and it doesn’t take much to push me over the edge.

But there is a definite shuffling in the ashes of my burnt out previous self and I think she wants to at least attempt to raise her little head.

So I hope you’re all still here to greet her when she does xx

I was never very good at organised religion as I like to do my own thing and change up my beliefs as I grow.

Some days I believe in pagan ways.

Some days I question everything.

☀️Sunshine & Good Vibes 😎

It was forecast to rain on my Brother and Sister In Law’s wedding day (which was to be outside) and well, I wasn’t for having that.

I decided to throw together a little ritual and called upon the Irish Sun God Lugh & our Mother Hecate to change that 🤪

My sister just bought a new house which has all of this beautiful and plentiful land around it so it seemed like the perfect spot.

Loaded with tokens, crystals and her permission of course I set out to pick fresh strawberries, raspberries and flowers from the garden and set up this delightful little offering to the gods in her orchard.

We also found part of a bird carcass so obviously Hecate was being dramatic.

Rachael (sis), Emily (bride), mum and me created a little sacred circle and laid out our goods, said a personalised spell and saluted the sun in order for her to have to perfect day.

And she did.

The sun shone, everyone had a fantastic day and the rain stayed away.

Until 1.30am.

Literally the minute the last person left the venue.

Yes I’m aware it’s the middle of July BUT ya girl had a bit of a menty B and had to take some time off.

That shouldn’t mean the aesthetics have to suffer!

I couldn’t possibly post a July after a May?!?!

What would happen when no one goes looking for June?!?

Just a little update if anyone was curious why I’ve been MIA.

Brain is braining real hard atm.

Traumas and insecurities that I thought I’d dealt with are resurfacing, resulting in my mental health taking a nose dive.

Started counselling today though (peep the date yeoooo) and I’m hopeful it will help this time.

I know a few of you have messaged regarding some things but I’ve not been in the frame of mind to respond and act like I’m okay when I’m not, so I apologise profusely if you feel like I’ve left you on read for no reason.

There is a reason.

I’m struggling.

Mentally, physically, emotionally, metaphorically & spiritually.

I’m sorry.

I hope you can understand and I hope you will all still be here when I get back.
